My Head
.....led me to Interior Design in 2006 - After graduating from Ryerson University School of Interior Design (RSID, Toronto) in 2010, I returned to my home, Trinidad & Tobago, to practice professionally. In my 6+ years of service at Designworks Ltd. (2010 - 2016), I contributed to some of the most prestigious projects on the island, work with some of the most respected local professionals in the field, and expand my understanding of design and the design process.
My Heart
.....led me to Houston in 2016 - My now-husband is a native Houstonian, so I decided to trade the steelpan music, Carnival festivals and island breezes for Houston's diverse cultures, thriving design community and views of the iconic Houston skyline. Home is where the heart is - and Houston is now my home. My husband and I now share a 2 year old daughter, Anja.
My Passion
.....lies in Residential and Hospitality Design - Despite my experience in different types of projects, I have particularly enjoyed the creative freedom I experienced in Residential and Hospitality projects. I love working with personal or brand concepts to inform the final design solutions. With a keen eye for detail, I aim to include elements that make each project unique.
My hobbies include decluttering and organizing, running along the Bayou, and cooking Caribbean food.
